Analysis
- This resolution strongly condemns “gross human rights violations and abuses” attributed to Myanmar’s military and calls on Myanmar to “end immediately all violence and violations of international law.” It also welcomes a January 2020 order for provisional measures by the International Court of Justice finding that there is "a real and imminent risk of irreperable prejudice to the rights of the Rohingya in Myanmar" to be protected from genocide.
