Anne-Isabelle Tollet

Anne-Isabelle Tollet is a French journalist, novelist and screenwriter. As a Senior Reporter for France 24, she was a permanent correspondent in Pakistan from 2008 to 2011, and bureau chief for Afghanistan. She left Pakistan on the eve of the publication in France of Blasphemy, a memoir of Asia Bibi, who was sentenced to hang in Pakistan after being convicted of blasphemy. She collaborated with Bibi on her autobiography, which was released after her conviction was overturned in 2018.
