ב- 29 בנובמבר העצרת הכללית של האו"ם ציינה את "יום פלסטין" וכחלק מהפולחן השנתי אימוצן המתוכנן של שש החלטות נגד ישראל, בחסות 20 המדינות הערביות הפועלות לבידודה של המדינה היהודית. ראה בהמשך טבלה המפרטת את ההחלטות.
החלטה אחת קוראת לישראל להעביר את השליטה של רמת הגולן לסוריה, תוך התעלמות מוחלטת מההרג ההמוני המתבצע על ידי משטרו של הנשיא בשאר אל-אסד. החלטה נוספת שאושרה אתמול מגנה את ישראל על פועלה בירושלים, ומשתמשת רק במונח האסלאמי להר הבית, תוך התעלמות מתפקידו ההיסטורי והמקראי של האתר ביהדות ובנצרות.
"ההתקפה של האו"ם על ישראל במבול של החלטות חד-צדדיות היא סוריאליסטית", אמר ההלל נוייר, מנכ"ל UN Watch, ארגון כלב שמירה לא ממשלתי המבוסס בג'נבה.
"ביום שבו הכוחות הנאמנים לנשיא בשאר אל-אסד תוקפים אזרחים סורים בחאלב, וגרמו למנוסה של אלפים, זה מגונה שהאו"ם יאמץ החלטה לגבי שטחי סוריה מתוקף אמנת ז'נבה והזכות 'ההגנה על אזרחים" – ויגנה רק את ישראל ", אמר נוייר.
"זה מדהים", אמר נוייר. "בזמן שהמשטר הסורי הורג מאות אלפים מאזרחיו, איך יכול האו"ם לקרוא להצבת יותר בני אדם תחת שלטונו של אסד? העיתוי של הטקסט מרגיז באופן מוסרי, ומגוחך".
"ובעוד שישנן בסך הכל 20 החלטות מסיתות, לא מאוזנות או מיותרות נגד ישראל במושב זה, לא מתוכננת כל החלטה של העצרת הכללית של האו"ם למען קרבנות דיכוי אכזרי של זכויות אדם במדינות כמו ערב הסעודית, בורונדי, טורקיה, ונצואלה, סין, או קובה".
"בעת בה הנשיא הפלסטיני מחמוד עבאס וערוצי התקשורת הרשמית שלו ממשיכים להסית את אנשיהם לדקור ולירות ביהודים ישראליים, תגובתו הבלתי מוסברת של האו"ם היא לגנות את ישראל באופן רפלקסיבי בשש החלטות נפרדות, כל אחת מהן חד-צדדית ומשתיקה את ההפרות הפלסטיניות".
"החלטות של היום טוענות לדאגה לפלסטינים, אבל האו"ם מסרב לומר מילה על עשרות הפלסטינים אשר בחודשים האחרונים נשחטו, נפצעו וגורשו על ידי כוחותיו של אסד, ביחד עם יותר מ -3,000 הרוגים מאז 2011".
"הפארסה של היום בעצרת מדגישה עובדה פשוטה: לרוב האוטומטי של האו"ם אין אינטרס לסייע לפלסטינים באמת, ולא בהגנה על זכויות האדם של מישהו; המטרה של הטקסיות, והגינויים החד צדדיים היא הפיכתה של ישראל לשעיר לעזאזל ", אמר נוייר.
"ההתקפה הלא מידתית של האו"ם נגד המדינה היהודית מערערת על האמינות המוסדית של מה שאמור להיות גוף בינלאומי ללא משוא פנים. הפוליטיזציה והסלקטיביות פוגעים במטרה שלמענה נוסד, ושוחקת את הבטחת האו"ם ליחס שווה לכל האומות הגדולות והקטנות", הוסיף נוייר.

The DPR serves the biased special committee and is dedicated to spreading anti-Israel propaganda the world over. Its 16-member staff is grossly disproportionate to the UN’s other four divisions which cover enormous geographical regions. The DPR’s work is counter-productive to the peace process and seeks to coordinate international boycotts against Israel instead of seeking bridges for peace. Excludes from its events any NGO that declines to swear fealty to its hardline politics. |

The program is one more example of how the neutral UN secretariat is forcibly co-opted by the anti-Israeli forces at the UN. The program eschews a balanced approach by overtly choosing the Palestinian over Israeli narrative, ignoring terrorism against Israeli men, women and children, and other daily realities of Israeli life. Resources devoted to anti-Israel propaganda are taken away from other worthy causes. |
