LINDA FRUM

The Honourable Linda Frum

The Honourable Linda Frum is the Chair of the Board of UN Watch. She was appointed to the Senate of Canada by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and served from 2009 to 2021. She is the past Chair of the Board of Directors for UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and was the founding Chair of UJA’s Combatting Anti-Semitism and Hate committee. She has served on many boards past and present, including: the Sholom Hartman Institute of Canada, the Azrieli Foundation, NGO Monitor and the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. She is a graduate of McGill University and holds honourary degrees from Yeshiva University and Hebrew University. A former journalist and author, Linda was a columnist with the National Post, a contributing editor to Maclean’s Magazine, and a Gemini-Award winning documentarian.

She lives in Toronto with her husband Howard Sokolowski.
