Juan Francisco Sigler Amaya is a Cuban human rights activist and a co-founder of the Independent Alternative Option Movement. His brother, Ariel Sigler Amaya, is a paraplegic political dissident who was imprisoned after 2003’s Black Spring and freed from prison after more than 6 years in 2010.
