Maziar Bahari is an Iranian journalist who was arrested by the Iranian regime for his coverage of the 2009 Iranian election protests. His book “Then They Came for Me,” which tells of his experience of 118 days of detention and torture in Iran was the basis for Jon Stewart’s 2014 film “Rosewater.”
