Mohammad Mostafaei

Mohammad Mostafaei is an Iranian human rights lawyer who has fought numerous women’s and children’s rights cases in Iran. Mostafaei represented Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, who was famously convicted of adultery and placed on Iran’s death row, and fled Iran after being arrested for publicising Ashtiani’s case to the international community. He received asylum from Norway and founded the Universal Tolerance Organization in 2012.
