Thor Halvorssen is a human rights advocate and film producer, and founded Human Rights Foundation (HRF) in the spring of 2005. He is CEO of HRF and founder of the Oslo Freedom Forum. Halvorssen has produced several films that focus on freedom and human rights. Thor’s written opinions and views have appeared in leading publications and news outlets worldwide such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, The Economist, CNN, and the BBC.
