Ti-Anna Wang

Ti-Anna Wang is a Chinese-Canadian dissident whose father, Wang Bingzhang, is a prisoner of conscience in China. After being refused access to her home country to visit her father for 10 years, Mrs. Wang was given a visa to travel to China in 2019. However, she was detained on landing in Hangzhou and deported to South Korea. When she then attempted to return home to Canada on a flight transiting through Beijing she was again detained and forced to fly back to Seoul. Wang continues to advocate for her father’s freedom.
