The UN Watch NGO harshly criticized the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday, calling it “systematically biased” against Israel. The criticism followed the adoption on Tuesday of a resolution “regretting” that Israel skipped a mandated review of its human rights record.
Responding to the resolution, UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer said: “A jury of brigands is not justice, it’s a travesty. We regret that today’s resolution failed to acknowledge the elephant in the room: the council’s systematic bias against Israel.”
