Perkins Rocha Contreras is a Venezuelan lawyer and opposition legal advisor who worked with the Unitary Platform and the 2024 presidential campaign of Edmundo González. He was detained without a warrant in August 2024 and held at El Helicoide on charges including terrorism and conspiracy, in a case widely condemned by opposition figures and human rights groups. In February 2026, he was placed under house arrest amid the release of other political prisoners
