World citizens can now vote on UN Human Rights Council candidates

On Wednesday, 193 member states will vote to elect 18 new countries on to the UN Human Rights Council. Sadly, their past votes show that oppressive regimes like China, Russia, Cuba and Saudi Arabia often get elected, largely due to political interests and backroom deals. 
Now, however, citizens around the world can vote Yes or No on this year’s problematic candidates, by clicking below. The results will be shared with the UN.
