(b) pursue campaigns of political and economic warfare, which threaten U.S. national interests and sovereignty; and
(c) spew unabashed antisemitism, express support for terrorism, and open contempt for the United States, Israel, and the West
A. Albanese Uses Facebook and Instagram to Engage With ICC to Target Israel or US
On August 5, 2024, Albanese shared a UN statement on Facebook in which she accused Israel of torturing detained Palestinians, tagging the ICC.
On February 21st, 2025, Albanese posted on Instagram in support of the ICC while calling for Israeli leaders to be held accountable.
B. Albanese Uses Facebook and Instagram to Wage Political and Economic Warfare Targeting US & Israel
Albanese has posted on her Facebook account calls for BDS against Israel on March 27, 2025 and August 2, 2025.
On February 1st, 2025, Albanese posted on Instagram to praise The Hague Group for gathering to coordinate sanctions against Israel, calling it the “best news.”
On June 20th, 2025, Albanese calls on Instagram for a total arms embargo against Israel.
On July 9th, 2025, Albanese made an Instagram post congratulating students who “called out” Edinburgh University’s “financial support for Israeli occupation and genocide.”
On July 28, 2025, Albanese posted on Facebook calling for “sanctions” and a “full arms embargo” on Israel.
On July 9th, 2025, Albanese posted on Instagram in support of a petition calling on the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) to suspend all ties with Israeli institutions.
Translation: Full support for the 300+ signatories calling on the CNR to suspend collaborations with Israeli institutions, in line with international law, as explained in my latest UN report. May the initiative achieve the desired outcome.
On June 22nd, 2025, Albanese posts on Instagram to condemn the Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, sharing that “stopping the supply of arms to Israel os the first step to return to peace…”
On June 19th, 2025, Albanese called on Instagram for states to not recognize, trade, or aid Israel.
On June 11th, 2025, Albanese posted on Instagram asking for UN members to “join forces” against Israel and the United States.
On July 21st, 2025, Albanese posted on Instagram calling for Israeli soldiers to be arrested while traveling abroad, framing them as “war criminals.”
On June 1st, 2025, Albanese shares on Instagram an interview clip of her calling for Italy to cut dies with Israel.
On May 22nd, 2025, Albanese posts on Instagram further calling for sanctions against Israel.
On April 28th, 2025, Albanese posted on Instagram to celebrate Iceland opposing Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest.
C. Albanese Uses Facebook and Instagram to Spew Unabashed Antisemitism, Support Terrorism, and Express Contempt for US, Israel, and the West
The United States, Canada, France, and Germany have condemned Ms. Albanese for using her social media to propagate antisemitism and Holocaust inversion.
In July 2014, UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese fundraised for her former employer UNRWA by posting that America is “subjugated by the Jewish lobby.”
Also in July 2014, Albanese posted a message addressed to the BBC that “the Israeli lobby is clearly inside your veins” and spoke of an Orwellian nightmare caused “once again by Israel’s greed.”
In January 2015, immediately following the Charlie Hebdo terror attack, Albanese posted an article from Iranian state-owned media PressTV with the title “CIA and Mossad carried out the Paris attack.”
In July 2025, Albanese shared a post on Facebook that downplayed extreme antisemitism after a Jewish father and his six-year-old son were targeted by a group in Italy chanting “Free Palestine” and “murderers.” The post Albanese shared claimed that the two were attacked for being Zionists, not because they wore kippahs, and that this is a distraction by the press from “talking about the kidnapping and abduction of Italian citizens in international waters by the Fourth Reich.”
On July 1st, 2025, Albanese posts on Instagram that “Israel’s killing machine knows no mercy. Not a single day passes without at least one massacre.”
On July 1st, 2025, Albanese posts on Instagram that “there is no glory in upholding a system that enables and defends genocide” in response to rap duo Bob Vylan being “cancelled” after chanting “death, death to the IDF.”
On June 20th, 2025, Albanese invoked on Instagram the 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust to accuse Israel of genocide.
On June 10th, 2025, Albanese invokes Anne Frank on Instagram to make a comparison between the Holocaust and Gaza.
On May 11th, 2025, Albanese posts on Instagram to accuse Israel of raping Palestinians with dogs.
