Human rights activists condemn attack by Islamic regime in Iran

In wake of today’s attack against Israel, prominent human rights activists have denounced the Islamic regime in Iran and their apologists, and expressed solidarity with the people of Israel. These includes international human rights activists, dissidents, and former political prisoners from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia and Cuba, many of whose campaigns have been supported by UN Watch.

Those speaking out include Russian dissident and former world chess champion Garry Kasparov, Chair of the Human Rights Foundation and Co-Founder of the World Liberty Congress, Saudi political prisoner Raif Badawi, former political prisoner in Iran Kylie Moore-Gilbert, Iranian journalist and dissident Masih Alinejad (who was targeted for abduction and assassination by the Islamic regime), Canadian-Iranian human rights activist Nazanin Afshin-Jam, Russian dissident Evgenia Kara-Murza (whose husband Vladimir is a political prisoner in Russia, serving a 25-year sentence for “treason”), and Cuban human rights activist John Suarez.
