Israel under attack, UN Watch speaks out

Millions of Israeli civilians have spent the past few days in bomb shelters as Palestinian terrorists bombard Israel’s south and center with rockets, over a thousand of which have been fired from Gaza since Monday.

Israel has been forced to defend itself from Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror, launching airstrikes against terrorist targets embedded in the Gaza Strip. Israel has also had to contend with a propaganda campaign presenting it as the aggressor and denying its right to self-defense. Politicians, NGOs, celebrities and, of course, the United Nations have bought into and are magnifying this assault on the truth.

UN Watch is fighting the lies online and calling out the perpetrators. These include UN Watch tweets refuting mistruths posted by U.S. Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, UN Middle East peace envoy Tor Wennesland, EU spokesperson Peter Stano, UNRWA Gaza director Matthias Schmale, and UN special rapporteur Michael Lynk. See below.

UN Watch’s Hillel Neuer also delivered a detailed backgrounder in an Instagram Live interview with podcaster Shanna Fuld.
