In numerous interviews obtained exclusively by UN Watch, students of UNRWA schools glorify violence and terrorism against Jews. Today, UN Watch released another one of these interviews, as part of a larger trove of evidence showing how UNRWA leaders work closely with top Hamas officials, UNRWA teachers, school principals, teacher union heads and regional directors either belong to or embrace Hamas, and how all of this leads to students embracing violence and terrorism against Jews.
Aya Ahmed Abdullah Sa’id al-Banna, a student at the UNRWA Tulkarm Camp Girls’ School, was taught that “we don’t like Israel,” that Palestinians will “shoot” Israelis, and that the martyrs are “big heroes.” Aya says that she wants to join the resistance “so that I can fight, and take my rights from Israel and become a martyr.”

Exclusive from UN Watch: Interview of Aya Ahmed Abdullah Sa’id al-Banna, Student at UNRWA’s Tulkarm Camp Girls’ School
My name is Aya Ahmed Abdullah Sa’id al-Banna
I study at [UNRWA’s] Tulkarm Camp Girls’ School.
Did you learn anything in school about the Right of Return?
Yes.
The right of the brave, and we’ll return to our land, stuff like that.
What do they teach you about Israel?
That we’ll shoot them.
Do you hate the Jews?
Yes, a lot.
Why?
Because they are our enemies and we’ll take back our right from them.
What do you think about the attack on Israel on October 7th and the war that happened after it, is this connected to the Right of Return?
Yes. So that we can take Palestine, and so that our land returns to us.
Do you think Al-Aqsa is just symbolic?
No, I’m willing to fight for it.
Is there room for the Jews in Al-Aqsa?
No.
Do the Jews have the right to exist here in Palestine?
No. Because Palestine is ours, not theirs.
Is it possible to divide Palestine between the Jews and the Palestinians?
No. This is our land.
What do you like to watch the most on your phone?
I like to watch things about Palestine, the martyrs, the resistance fighters, and Hamas.
So, would you want to join the resistance?
Yes.
Why?
So that I can fight, and take my rights from Israel and become a martyr.
What do you learn in school about peace?
It teaches me that we don’t like Israel.
Are the martyrs heroes?
Yes, they’re big heroes.
Do you want to become a martyr?
Yes.
Why?
So that we can rise up to Allah.
