Subhi al-Zaber, an UNRWA teacher based in Amman, has as his cover photo a map covering all of Israel and the West Bank and Gaza, calling for Israelis to “get out of our land, our soil, our sea, our wheat, our salt, our wounds, out of everything, out of the reminiscences of the memory.” By erasing Israel from the map, this UNRWA teacher negates UNRWA’s promise to teach its students peace and co-existence.
