UNHRC Denies Speaking Slots to UN Watch, Instead Gives to Chinese Regime Front Groups

In the UN Human Rights Council’s recent 50th Regular Session, UN Watch was wrongfully denied a speaking slot in any of the 36 Interactive Dialogues, even though we promptly registered to speak in each one.

Only 10 NGOs speak under each ID debate. Instead of UN Watch being allowed to speak, the UN human rights secretariat headed by Mr. Eric Tistounet gave the slots to several Chinese  state-sponsored “NGOs.” Following is a selection of their propaganda testimonies before the UNHRC.
