UNRWA youth ambassador Mohammed Assaf — one of ten UNRWA figures identified as online inciters in this new UN Watch report — has just released a new music video encouraging the ongoing epidemic of Palestinian rioting, stabbing and shooting attacks against Israelis, singing, “Fight back until you defeat the aggressor.”
Referring to recent attacks that targeted Jews in Jerusalem and Afula, Assaf — who raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for UNRWA through fundraising concerts in Europe and elsewhere — sings that “there is no perseverance like yours in Jerusalem and Afula.”
Other scenes inciting violence, which contradict the UN Charter’s principles of peace, pervade the video:
Despite all of the images, the UN spokesman said Friday that it “remains to be seen” if UNRWA officials are engaged in incitement.
As noted by the blogger Elder of Ziyon, who first reported the video, the Palestine Press Agency reports Assaf’s song and images as support for the “Al Quds uprising.”
