Mahmoud Al-Aydi lists himself as an UNRWA English teacher in Gaza on his Facebook profile. In November 2020, he also posted a photo of the #unrwastaffsalaries campaign. On October 8th, 2023, just one day after the horrific Hamas massacre, Al-Aydi offered congratulations to Hamas.
