Fatima A. Saidam, UNRWA Engineer, Praises October 7th

Fatima A. Saidam lists herself as an UNRWA engineer. Saidam graduated from UNRWA’s Gaza Training Center with a degree in computer engineering in 2019. Her UNRWA employment is further demonstrated by a September 2020 Facebook post in which Saidam is proud of her new job as a computer engineer at the UNRWA Gaza Training Center.

On October 7th, 2023, Saidam endorsed Hamas’s brutal massacre, promising more violence against Israelis.

In this May 11, 2021 post, Saidam celebrates a Hamas barrage of over 30 rockets on Tel Aviv during that month’s Israel/Hamas conflict. She excitedly posts about it with a laughing emoji and a victory sign.

In December 2018, Saidam posted several photos glorifying armed Hamas terrorists in their Al-Qassam Brigades uniforms. A December 3rd photo of these Hamas terrorists is captioned “and yes, terrorism” with a heart emoji, endorsing Hamas terrorism. A December 11th post calls to “imitate them,” referring to the members of Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades.

In October 2018, Saidam lauded five members of Hamas’s Al-Qassem Brigades killed earlier that year during the “March of Return” border riots. She referred to them as “martyrs” and endorsed their violent actions. Along with this post, Saidam posted numerous photos of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh smiling victoriously and holding his fingers in a “victory” sign, appearing to celebrate Hamas violence along the Gaza border in 2018.
