Montaser Ashour lists himself as a site engineer at UNRWA in Gaza on his Facebook Profile. His UNRWA employment is further shown in a Facebook post regarding his participation in a workers strike by UNRWA contract engineers.
On May 14, 2021, Montaser Ashour posted the below video glorifying Hamas terrorist Dr. Jamal al-Zebda (left) killed along with his son (right) in an Israeli strike a couple days earlier during the May 2021 Israel/Hamas conflict. Al-Zebda headed the Hamas rocket development program under the direct supervision of al-Qassem Brigades Commander Muhammad al-Deif. In his post, Ashour glorifies al-Zebda and promotes terrorism, praying for him to “spend a hundred years in jihad” “cracking the heads of Jews.”
